The phosphate ore collector FFA-452p is a derivated polyfunctional fatty acid, which is synthesized by α-substituting and heteropolarization. After the introduction of appropriate polar groups in fatty acid molecules, the selectivity of reagents can be enhanced, and the flotation temperature can be reduced, thus reducing the flotation cost of phosphate rock. It can be used for reverse flotation of phosphate rock and collophanite, and can effectively flotation phosphate rock containing impurities such as magnesium and silicon. Flotation can be carried out at room temperature to reduce energy consumption; The foam is moderate, and the collection performance and selectivity are better than those of traditional fatty acid collectors.

The phosphorus recovery rate of laboratory phosphorus concentrate with a grade of P2O5>34% can be increased by about 5-6 percentage points.

The appearance of the agent is light yellow viscous melt, no irritating odor, soluble in water. The density is 0.91g/cm³ (25℃), according to the relevant standards, the hard water resistance evaluation score is 69 points, and sodium oleate is 42 points, indicating that the hard water resistance is better than sodium oleate. At 25℃, the surface tension is 42.6mN/m (concentration 50mg/L), and it has a good foaming ability, and is not very sensitive to pH and temperature changes. It has a strong ability to collect, at the same time with foaming properties. It is suitable for use in weakly alkaline medium and normal temperature, and has good resistance to hard water. The flotation effect on phosphate rock is better than that of fatty acid (soap) collector, and the amount of Na₂CO₃ and flotation temperature can be significantly reduced.
